Andy has a strong Background in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, In 2008 he started as a waterjet technician for the UK distributor of Omax waterjet machines, he then progressed to working for Omax Corporation Directly as a Service Technician Travelling worldwide to repair and train people on the use of their waterjet machines. Andy received full technical training on the Omax waterjet and has gained years of experience in the field. In 2013 Andy returned to the UK distributor as Service manager before leaving to start DSG Waterjet Ltd. Since starting DSG, Andy has also visited WARDJet in Ohio to undergo training on there machines as well as hypertherm products and Igems Software.
Eddie has worked within the engineering sector for 46 years, the last 14 of them spent within the laser and water jet profiling sector, Eddie is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cutting unusual materials having already experienced most of them. He worked for the Omax distributer from 2010 to 2014 and provide over the phone technical support and offers unparalleled advice to customers when it comes to feed rates and machinability values on complex materials and cut paths. Eddie was often involved in special applications for waterjet machinery which meant that he had to rely on his training and knowledge to perform complex cutting on modern materials which had been previously untested.
Carl prior to getting involved with waterjet completed numerous educational courses including a triple distinction in Mechanical Engineering national diploma, followed by a two year foundation degree in computer aided engineering. He has also had full technical training from Omax in Seattle and has worked for the UK distributor from 2011 until 2014 repairing and training people on waterjet cutting machines. Carl has a wealth of knowledge as he has operated waterjet machines in production environments as well as being a service engineer for the UK distributor, Carl was often involved in special applications for waterjet machinery which meant that he had to rely on his training and knowledge to perform complex cutting on modern materials which had been previously untested.Carl has since had extensive training by WARDJet on there products aswell as Hypertherm and Igems software.
